How much do I pay in tips?
- It is customary to offer
tips or gratuities to staff members you feel have given you
exceptional service and personal attention. Celebrity cruises
suggests the following guidelines:
- Adults
Waiter: $3.50 p/day
Assistant Waiter: $2.00 p/day
Butler (suites only): $3.50 p/day
Assistant Maitre'd: $0.75 p/day
Stateroom Service: $3.50 p/day
Stateroom Service (ConciergeClass): $4.00

What does my cruise fare
include?
- The price of your cruise
includes ship accommodations, ocean transportation, meals, some
beverages most entertainment aboard the vessel. All prices are
per-person, based on double occupancy of the stateroom, and are
quoted in US dollars.
- The cruise price does not
include air transportation, transfers or items of a personal
nature, such as shore excursions, some beverages, photographs,
gratuities, medical services, etc.
- In addition, Celebrity
Cruises separately assesses airport facility charges and certain
departure taxes and other taxes/fees that are implemented by
various governments and quasi-governmental agencies. Such
assessment is subject to change without notice at any time
whether or not you have a confirmed booking under deposit, or if
you have made final payment.
How much money should I
bring?
- The price of the cruise
includes ship accommodations, meals, some beverages and most
entertainment. The amount of money needed for items of a
personal nature, such as shore excursions, alcoholic beverages,
soft drinks, photos, gratuities, etc. will be at your
discretion.
What are the
onboard dress codes?
- You will need three types
of clothing on your Celebrity cruise: casual shipboard attire or
day wear, conservative port wear and eveningwear.
- Daywear includes slacks
or pants, blouses or shirts, knit tops or polo shirts. Bring a
pair of sneakers or rubber-soled shoes for deck sports and a
swimsuit cover-up for cool areas on the ship.
- Port wear for women
includes a casual dress, skirt and blouse, or pants outfit; for
men, casual pants or walking shorts, and polo-type shirts.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must.
- Also, remember to bring
extra bathing suits, as well as sun block, sun visors and other
types of sun protection.
- gentleman's choice
for casual nights includes a sport shirt and slacks, while women
will be comfortable in a pants suit, skirt and blouse, or casual
dress.
- On informal nights, men
are requested to wear a jacket, shirt and tie, while women may
want to wear a suit or dress.
- For the formal nights,
including the Captain's Welcome Aboard Cocktail Party, dinner on
the second night, and the Captain's Farewell Dinner held the
next-to-last night of the cruise; both men and women may prefer
more dressy attire, such as an evening gown for women and a
tuxedo or dress suit for men.
- Celebrity Cruises has
implemented a casual dining service on its five ships. Casual
dining is offered most nights on every cruise, depending upon
the itinerary, and is served in the Palm Springs Grill and pool
area on the Mercury and at the Oasis Grill and pool area on the
Galaxy. On the Zenith casual dining is offered in the Windsurf
Cafe. On the Century casual dining is available in the Sky Bar.
On our newest ships, casual dining is offered at the Seaside
Grill and pool on the Constellation, the Oceanview Grill and
pool area on the Infinity, the Ocean Grill on the Millennium and
the Waterfall Grill on the Summit.

Do you have Internet access onboard?
- Connect@Sea service is only available
on: Millennium, Infinity, Summit and Constellation. This service
is accessible from any guests' stateroom or suite.
- This service requires the rental of a
phone kit, which can be obtained from Guest Relations. Guest
Relations has a limited amount of phone kits onboard.
- Guests will be charged a nominal daily
fee for the rental of the unit. In addition to the daily rental
of the unit, there is a per minute charge, as well as the option
of multiple packages which include a number of minutes. Guest
must contact Guest Relations to obtain a brochure that explains
the program and enrollment.
- In order to take advantage of this
service, the guest must bring their own laptop, which must have
the following requirements:
- Windows-based operating systems
- Internal modem
- Dial-up Internet capabilities
What security is onboard?
- Our ships meet or exceed all
International and U.S. Coast Guard safety regulations, including
smoke detectors and sprinkler systems where required.
What is your onboard smoking policy?
- Smoking is permitted on the port-side
of most public lounges and deck areas. Pipe and cigar smoking is
not permitted in the public lounges. Smoking is not allowed in
all dining venues and the Show Lounge. Smoking is allowed in
suites/staterooms. There are no non-smoking staterooms.

Do your cabins have soap, shampoo, and
conditioner?
- All of our staterooms supply soap,
shampoo, and conditioners.

Same DaSpecial articles of apparel such as silks, flannel
trousers, woolens and other items which are difficult to clean

- In case of loss or damage, liability
is limited to ten times the prices charges for laundry/pressing
of said article. Not responsible for shrinkage, fastness of
colors, zippers, buttons and ornaments, or ordinary wear and
tear in pressing, or anything left in pockets of garments

Is there licensed medical staff onboard?
- Onboard we have two fully qualified
doctors, and three nurses.

What will the menu be on my sailing?
- Unfortunately, we are unable to advise
you of the specific menu for your sailing. However, the Culinary

What are Customs duty-free allowances?
- Detailed instructions about clearing
customs and customs allowances will be provided by the Cruise
Director during the departing talk on the last day of the
cruise. We highly recommend that you attend this important and
informative talk.
What is Celebrity's liquor and alcohol
policy?
- No alcoholic beverages may be
purchased ashore for consumption onboard.
- Onboard purchases from the gift shop
of any bottle of liquor will be held until the last night of the
cruise when it will be delivered to the stateroom.
- Celebrity Cruises will not serve
alcoholic beverages while a vessel is at sea to guests under 18
years of age.
- In port, the minimum drinking age is
18 or 21, in accordance with local legal age limits.

Are special food items, medical
requirements available?
- Diabetic, Low-Sodium, Low-Fat, Low
Cholesterol, Lactose-Free and Kosher.
- These special meals can be provided on
all vessels when requested in advance. Requests must be
submitted in writing to our Special Services Department no later
than 21 days before sailing for Caribbean and Alaska and 28 days
for Hawaii, Europe and South America sailings. Guests should
confirm arrangements with the Restaurant Manager on the day of
embarkation.

and dinner menus include appetizers (fried mushroom caps,
polenta with tomato basil sauce, and farmer cheese fritters),
soups (chilled gazpacho, cream of corn Caroline and chilled
peach with mint), various salads, entrees (rice glass noodles
with snow peas, green beans and chili, Middle Eastern casserole
of okra, potato and zucchini, and Sonora-style fajitas with
guacamole, salsa, sour cream and cilantro) and desserts (warm
pear charlotte with fruit coulis, rice conde with caramel sauce
or fresh fruit salad). Please note this is always subject to
change.
- Lean and Light
- This is a menu option on the regular
dining room menu. There is one Lean and Light option for each
menu selection (one appetizer, soup, salad, entree and dessert).
Each Lean and Light option is denoted and indicates some of the
Nutritional values. These menu items meet the national
recommendation set by the American Diabetic Association and the
American Cancer Society as having less than 30 percent f their
total calories from fat.
- Children's Menus
- Colorful menus with special
children-friendly choices are served to young cruisers at lunch
and dinner. Selections include Oriental chicken with stir-fried
vegetables, pasta with four-cheese sauce, macaroni au gratin
with cream and cheese, grilled ham and cheese sandwich,
hamburger or cheeseburger with trimmings, French fries and an
all-American hot dog. Dessert selections include peach melba,
banana splits and ice cream sundaes. If you are interested in
this menu selection please advise the Restaurant Manager on the
day of embarkation.

What activities will be available for my
child(ren) onboard?
- Youth Activities are directed and
organized by a special staff of youth counselors. Youth
Counselors have a formal education in Recreation, Education,
Child Development or related fields. In addition Youth
Counselors have experience working with large groups of children
ages 3-17 years of age, in school/community sponsored youth
programs or summer camps. Youth Counselors hold certifications
in CPR and some speak Spanish, French, German, Italian, and
Portuguese.
- All Celebrity ships carry a minimum of
6 Youth Counselors year round. except Zenith which has four.
During holiday sailings, Celebrity ships carry 8-12 Youth
Counselors.
- Celebrity's Five-Tier Family Program
is available all year round.

- Age Restrictions:
- The Celebrity X-Club Youth Program
provides activities for children and teens 3 to 17. Children
must be a minimum age of 3 years old. to participate in
organized and counselor supervised activities. Proof of age may
be requested. At the discretion of the Youth Program Manager,
parents may accompany their toddlers to utilize the Fun Factory
and participate in Shipmate activities.
- Health Restrictions:
- *Children participating in the
Celebrity X-Club Youth Program organized and counselor
supervised activities without a parent, must be completely
toilet trained and diaper/pull-up free.
- *Children with Disabilities:
- Any child over the age of 3 who must
wear diapers or pull ups due to a disability may participate in
the Youth Program as long as the parent submits a signed copy of
the ADA XClub Accommodation Request Form PDF.
- Availability:
- The Celebrity Youth Program is
available year round with a full, five-tier age group program
during President's Week, Easter, Summer, Thanksgiving, and
Christmas sailings. On all other sailings, a combined age group
program is offered.
- Program Hours:
- The Children's Playroom / Fun Factory
is open daily from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 P.M. each day. Slumber
Party from 10:00pm - Midnight is offered each night on a sign up
basis for a fee of $6 per child, per hour.
- Only while the ship is docked will a
nominal fee of $6.00 per hour per child, children ages 3-12
years old who wishes to participate in various sitting services
offered by the X-Club Youth Program; Afternoon Party from 12:00
P.M. - 2:00 P.M. and Dinner Party from 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- Afternoon Party from 12:00 P.M. - 2:00
P.M. (port days only)
- Dinner Party from 5:00pm - 7:00pm
(complimentary while @ sea)
- Slumber Party from 10:00 P.M. - 1:00
A.M. daily (complimentary on the last night of the cruise).
- On the last evening of the cruise ,
the Celebrity Youth Program hosts a, "Parent's Night Out" in
which children participate in a Pizza Party, evening activities,
and complimentary Slumber Party, while their parents enjoy their
last evening of fine dining and world class entertainment.
Ensign (10-12 years) and Teen (13-17 years) activities are
hosted by the Youth Staff. Ensigns and Teens are free to enter
and leave activities as they please.
- Parent Responsibility:
- Children ages 3-9 must be signed-in
and signed-out of the Celebrity Youth Program by their parents,
who must present their Celebrity Signature Card for
identification. Children and teens ages 10-17 are free to come
and go as they please from activities hosted by the Celebrity
Youth Program, but are required to follow the basic rules of the
ship for those under 18 years old. When outside of the Celebrity
Youth Program, parents are responsible for the supervision of
their children. We also ask the you refrain from allowing your
children to utilize the pool pr jacuzzi without your
supervision.
- Babysitting (Stateroom Services):
- For a nominal fee of $8.00 per hour,
for up to two children within the same family, parents can
arrange for a private, in-stateroom Baby Sitter. Babysitting
services are available through Stateroom Services onboard all
Celebrity vessels. Parents are asked to make all private,
in-stateroom babysitting requests 24 hours in advance. Children
must be a minimum age of six months or older and there are to be
no more than two children per Baby Sitter. Private, in-stateroom
babysitting is subject to personnel availability.
- Toddler Time (Children under 3):
- Parents can now accompany their
toddlers to a special event held only for toddlers and their
parents. Youth Staff will provide toddler appropriate toys and
equipment for these junior cruisers to feel like part of the
fun.
Celebrity has also provided changing tables and baby wipes in
either the Fun Factory lavatory or these washroom closest to the
Toddler Time venue.
- Celebrity Youth Program Behavioral
Policy:
- Inappropriate behavior will not be
permitted during Celebrity Youth Program activities. Youth
demonstrating inappropriate behavior will first receive a verbal
warning, second receive an age appropriate time out for
continued inappropriate behavior and third, parent notification
and dismissal from the Celebrity Youth Program activities.
- *USPH restriction on children in
diapers is related to their use of all pools, spas, whirlpools,
etc.

- On the last night at sea, it is
customary to offer gratuities to staff members you feel have
given you exceptional service and personal attention. We suggest
the following guidelines:
